I’ve recently changed the rules for commenting on this blog, so I thought it would be an appropriate me to explain the guidelines. The moment I turned on the comment moderation I knew the game had changed. Now every comment will need to be reviewed before it is posted.
Here are the guidelines for posting to my site:
Stay on Target.
I am responsible for this blog. I will decide what topics to discuss. If you would like to push an agenda write your own blog.
No Attacking (including me) or ministries (including my church).
If you want to pick fights and belittle others, do that on your own space. There is a lot of spaces out their that encourage devaluing others. I don’t have time for infighting.
No Inappropriate Language.
Any off-color language will not be posted.
Don’t submit anonymous comments.
Cowards are anonymous. If you can’t share openly what’s on your mind by let others know who you are, you are probably living in an unhealthy environment that discourages open dialogue.
Because of these change comments will not be posted instantly. I do have a real job. So, many comments may stack up until I have some free time. Please be patient, I’ll get to it. I know it may be inconvenient. My hope is the conversation won’t suddenly stop.
I love to learn and my blog is another way for me to expand my intellect. I despise yes-men. I am very secure in who God has made me. I don’t need your comments of adoration to feel good. Please, point out where you disagree. Remember, I will fire back. Even if I’m in the wrong.
