My name is Nathan and I absolutely LOVE my job as a Pastor.
What’s that you say? Well, to put it simply:
I specializes in strategy, leadership, and student ministries. I currently serve at Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. As the associate pastor of student ministry I oversee Revolution. Each week we see hundreds of students experiencing God and life together. I also have the privilege serving on the Creative team here at Victory.
It wasn’t always this way, mind you, but it has definitely been a fun, exciting, and very rewarding way to earn a living.
And my goal with this particular blog is to share those experiences and through them teach you how to do the same.
So sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee (don’t forget your laptop!) and join me as I walk through the what, the how, and the why of Ministry, Leadership and Strategy!
What is an Associate Pastor?
I Started on ministry in the summer of 2005. Since them I have been employed at Three churched with relatively the same responsibilities, the multi-site/mega-church of Evangel World Prayer Center, JDM at Covenant Church and currently Victory Family Church. Ultimately, I am interested in pursuing a Senior Pastor Job. Scary, I know.
It is not my intent or explicit goal to become a professional blogger. Instead, I saw blogging is a way for me to creatively share my thoughts and experiences. My ultimate goal is to add value to the lives of those serving in ministry, both professionally and volunteering.
I saw blogging as a type of “Training” opportunity. Since then I’ve learned quite a bit about Ministry, Leadership and Strategy, the elements required to become successful in ministry at any level.
This is why I am a blogger.
